What media of art do you work in?
Mixed media art with fragments of paper, fabrics, photography, and other mediums such as acrylic ink and oil pastels.

How would you describe your genre of painting?
Minimalistic & Abstract style of painting using loose brushstrokes and fluid movements

Can you describe your creative process?  When you begin a painting, do you have an idea of what the end result is? Do you prepare sketches first?  Do you know the colors you are going to use?
The aspect of any new painting consists of Composition, Tools used, Symbols, Color palette, Characteristics and Layering techniques. I typically start with an idea then develop into a sketch then compose onto the real canvas with deeper meaningful impact.

What is the message you want people to take away from your artwork?
My artwork carries the message of deeper conversation logging into an emotional release.

100 years from now, how do you want people to remember you as an artist?
Art for me is exploration of inner and outer experiences as a soul. My Art is intuitive and informed by blending modernity with cultural storytelling angle.

What is your favorite praise you have received from a client or about your work?
Listen, open, reflect and release on canvas.
Every color has an emotional connection.

What are your hobbies outside of Art?

Visiting museums all around the world.

What is an interesting piece of trivia about you that people don’t know?
I love trying new food ideas & recipes from Instagram influencers.

Give me one or two sentences about your family?

I have been a trailing spouse for 28 years to my husband.

What has been your strongest influence in your art career thus far?
Architecture and its design principles of v contrast, balance, emphasis, proportion, repetition, rhythm, pattern, white space, movement, variety, and unity.

What is your vision for yourself as an artist 5 years from now?
I would love to reach out to various art lovers in India, USA, and Dubai.

Which one is your favorite artwork you have ever done and tell us why?
Calm Moments. This artwork transports you to places you may feel you are on your vacation. A red postal box sets against a heavy textured white, grey wall, a blue old wooden door adorned by pink bougainvillea completes the Mediterranean storytelling. Textural Depth of the art is achieved by thick coats of paint and palette knife.

Which is one of your most recent work?
String The Lights 2. A colorful celebration of festivities in multicultural Singapore. The lanterns are a common repetitive theme explored in this painting. This artwork is created using loose brushstrokes with a neutral grey backdrop highlighting the pop of bright red pink lanterns showcasing layers of Asian aesthetics & symbolism.
